A friend and I decided to visit Wallingford for a street photography trip to brighten up a dark Winter day and we were truly impressed by the Cross Keys. The restaurant is now under new management and has a stunning interior decor, featuring beautiful dark wood and interesting antiques. Dave, the owner, has done a fantastic job with the place. He was welcoming and friendly, and the pub is focused on offering a great selection of beers on both cask and keg. It was a wonderful escape from the bad weather to sit by the fire and enjoy a delicious pint of Rebel or Beavertown Neck Oil. We celebrated a friend's birthday here. There were 10 of us and 2 dogs. The service was good, the food was excellent and we all had a great time. Definitely worth a visit, and we'll be back for certain.
Popped to the keys last night. Even though we was very close to the kitchen shutting the kind landlord made us these two meals. Was really nice will definitely be visiting again
