The restaurant has several items labeled as gluten-free, but unfortunately, the staff seemed to lack knowledge about Coeliac awareness, leading to a high risk of cross-contamination. The gluten-free bread was toasted in the same toaster as regular bread, and when I pointed this out, the staff appeared surprised that this was a concern, though they were apologetic. There is no dedicated fryer for gluten-free items. The food tasted acceptable (according to someone without Coeliac), but I would advise against dining here as it is currently not safe for gluten-free patrons.
We were seated quickly and received friendly, attentive service. I ordered a skinny latte, which was a lovely coffee. My husband had the BLAT sandwich, while I enjoyed the best Eggs Benedict I've ever tasted. It was absolutely delicious! You can really tell they put a lot of thought into the dish. The eggs were perfectly poached and topped with fresh hollandaise sauce, along with halloumi cheese, jamón ham, fresh and dried apple, apple sauce, and bacon crumbs. It was like experiencing colorful fireworks in my mouth. Bellissimo! Muah!
Open from 5 AM for breakfast and coffee, this restaurant offers a fantastic way to kick off the day. I tried the beautifully presented chili scrambled eggs, which were not only a visual delight but also incredibly tasty. The coffee was excellent as well. I will definitely be returning!
The food is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The service is quick and friendly, thanks to the attentive staff. I can't wait to try the amazing cakes and pastries baked in-house. This place is definitely worth a visit (or two) when you're down by the coast.

By far the best coffee in town. The food is sensational and the portions are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful...a fantastic experience that I have been to previously and will come back to again. A must dining experience if you are in Bateman's.
This restaurant is not safe for those with celiac disease! They do not have a separate fryer, and there seems to be a complete lack of understanding that gluten-free bread cannot be toasted alongside regular bread.
Delicious breakfast menu with a chefs twist, beautifully presented healthy. Suitable for the carnivores, vegans everything in between. Yummy coffee too!
The food was amazing! The atmosphere was lively and the staff were polite and friendly. I have found my new breakfast spot! Great job guys!

We visited this Cafe several times while visiting Batemans Bay. They deserve a 5* as food and coffee is good and staff are friendly.
Such a cool spot for breakfast! The team were so friendly and welcoming. Service was quick and the coffee was amazing.
