We came across this place after coming from the beach. A wonderful place to get a bite to eat after getting starving from swimming all day. It's a cute small little family-owned restaurant. We ordered their JC special and Turkey Burger. The JC special had Juicy grilled lemon pepper chicken and turkey bacon with rich avocado, crisp arugula, and tomato, and melted mozzarella on a fresh pita. It was delicious, we love the citrusy flavor from the lemon chicken, moist and tender due to being grilled. The avocado would add that creaminess to the sandwich. While the arugula and tomato made it taste even fresher. The pita bread would be soft too! The Turkey Burger was served in a Pita with spinach,...
Unfortunately our experience didn't go very well! We booked catering for a work event that was held at a bar in the Rockaways, the food arrived, however we were given maybe 10 plates and no serving utensils or forks/spoons for a total of 45 people!! When I called and asked for more, they were understanding and sent plates and utensils soon after, however there was not enough food. When we pressed them on this, they said it was the amount we ordered. Unfortunately as the organizer of the event I did not get to eat dinner until late that night when I ordered pizza! We will not order catering from them in the future.
Claudette’s is my go-to Rockaway favorite. Their food is so fresh and their menu accommodates allergies and restrictions. Their team is wonderful and it’s always nice to see familiar friendly faces. I love the Jessicauli bowl and the peanut butter smoothie! I always leave feeling refreshed. They also do beautiful custom cakes. We ordered a dairy free chocolate cake with raspberry filling and it was so delicious and was a great price. If you haven’t been to Claudette’s, make sure you check it out!! It’s so nice to have a place where the food is consistently fantastic and the environment is so welcoming.
I cannot really say enough wonderful things about Claudette 's. I met Claudette and her son during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy in 2012. I have been, and always will be, a customer and friend to the Claudette family. They are professional, courteous, lovely and friendly people. Everyone who works with them or for them are very accommodating. You 'll have a terrific experience exploring their food menus with healthy and delicious food and drink options.

I freaking LOVE the revamp with the “buffet style” Mediterranean options. So healthy freaking delicious! I do wish they’d have a more affordable smaller but still satisfying bowl, perhaps $9/$10. I’d be able to go more often if the affordability was option was available I’m sure more Rockaway community members feel similarly. To the owner, thanks for the revamp!!
Delicious vegan cauliflower wings! The bowl is great! The concept well thought through and overall charming. I didn’t like that overall use of single use products even for dine in. I think it can easily adapt zerowaste or cradle 2 cradle approaches in their chain and focus more on circularity to get my 5 stars. Please cut plastic
Love this place. Great home style cooking lots of healthy choices. Plus smoothies a juice bar. The people are friendly and helpful. And i left my cell phone in the store and they called one of my contacts to return it to me. Never a long wait whether it’s dining in, takeout, or delivery. Support local business owners 100
Everything from the coffee to the cuisine is of the highest quality and delicious! I order lunch at least once or twice a week and delivery is very prompt. Panko chicken pita with hummus, coleslaw, etc. is out of this world

I been ordering at Cuisine by Claudettes for a long time. It’s always very good and fresh. My daughter loves it here. She says it’s very healthy. When we get it delivered it comes very fast. Excellent service
