At Cullens Ice Cream, I tried the After Dinner Mint flavor, which reminded me of Andes mints and was quite enjoyable. However, my husband had the banana ice cream, and it was terrible—tasting like stale, cheap candy that had been forgotten at the bottom of a candy jar for years. I was also disappointed that they don't offer samples, which I believe is a key part of the ice cream shop experience. The staff's customer service was mediocre, lacking warmth and social skills. Overall, we were not impressed with the menu or the service and probably won't be returning.
Cullens Ice Cream . ... This place WAS a good place to go until we found out how they treat their teenage employees! They treat them horrible!! And they do not follow labor laws regarding warnings when their employees have problems. They also send very STONG EXCLAMATION texts when parents get involved. And another thing...to pickup paycheck. They weren't there. They clipped it to a corkboard with a note stating last paycheck for everyone to see. We will never patronage this company again!! We will taking our business to Two Scoops Ice Cream in Anoka.
Cullens is the best! The owners are such friendly people and the staff is always super helpful. The selection always has a few standards, but there are many rotating flavors (including some homemade flavors) for something new every time. Often they also have a few flavors of homemade milk free ice cream. They also have a wide range of craftsmanship and old time so, and novelty candies. Definitely recommend this place!
Very good local ice cream/candy shop. They have a huge selection, big scoops of really good ice cream. There is a lot to try here and you won't be disappointed in anything they offer. Prices are reasonable for the amount you get. Outdoor seating could be a little better but it's not their fault the building doesn't have much of a sidewalk.

The customer service was terrible! I was given expired ice cream, and they refused to replace it. I do not recommend this place.

They make their own dairy free ice cream! Which is a huge bonus compared to other ice cream shops.
A hidden gem that is enjoyable for all ages! The staff are always pleasant and smiling!
