I haven’t been this blown way by pizza in quite a while. This is the best I’ve tried in Charleston. I come here every other week for business three days and I like to try different places.Aasia the host is phenomenal. She is the icing on the cake. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She is a pizza fan herself from Italy. That’s worth the price of admission right there.I tried the pizza, lasagna and a fried calzone, which I’ve never had a fried calzone before only a regular.Both were amazing. I have been to this restaurant a number of times in the past 6 months. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We've tried many dishes including veal, chicken, pasta and a number of appetizers. In each case it was prepared perfectly and each dish was universally enjoyed. Prices are very reasonable, parking is not an issue. I would definitely recommend it as a fabulous Italian restaurant
è perfetto! I loved this place. From the first call to verify I could bring my dog, to the last bite. Everyone was so sweet, the atmosphere on the patio was lovely, like an oasis. And every bite of food was phenomenal, from the fresh herbs in the olive oil to the decadent lasagna and tiramisu. Thank you Cuoco Pazzo for a lovely evening! I'll be bringing friends next time!
This is my third visit to this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service from Jim was exceptional. The flavors were a bit mild (more garlic would have been nice), but still enjoyable. The biggest letdown was the quality of the olive oil on the table. It would be great to see some authentic extra virgin olive oil from Sicily offered instead.

This place is incredible! We were not expecting great Italian food in Mount Pleasant, but we were PLEASANTLY surprised! Jim was an EXCELLENT waiter; timely, polite, gave honest feedback and recommendations. The limoncello was fantastic; made in-house. Every dish our party had was delicious. We will definitely be returning!
I'm not a big fan of Italian cuisine, but when my son-in-law wanted to go out for Italian food during his recent visit, I remembered how impressed I was when I dined at Cuoco Pazzo with friends before. This time was even better! Every dish was delicious and satisfied all our cravings. The staff was also excellent.
Always an outstanding dinner. The dishes are tasty, perfectly seasoned, beautiful presentation and delicious. As good as an Italian Restaurant can be. Decor is upscale, but not pretentious. Host, wait staff and all were very professional. Excellent wine list. Dessert first rate.
On vacation and family wanted pizza for dinner. Based on the reviews decided to give this place a try. So glad we did. Pizza was excellent! Everyone in our party ordered a different pie, and everyone was very happy with their food.

Our server Chris was awesome and the food was very nice. The appetizers were delicious and the overall service was great.
The Ortolanna pizza was superb. Our server was wonderful. Lovely place.
