Came for dinner around 6:15 on a Wednesday, we had a reservation but you can see from the picture, we didn't need one. They did tell us if we didn't come for the reservation, they would charge us 45 dollars, so keep that in mind. Also most menu items were on the expensive side.Food itself was great, we got the combo for 4 even though we had 3 people and a Kimchi fried rice, and that was a perfect amount of food for us (2 male 1 female), so if you're actually 4 people, consider getting something additional. 1st experience visiting Daebak with friends it was a good time by all of us. Servers were excellent, offering advice assisting with extras as needed. We had a combo meat meal (beef, pork belly, chicken) that we cooked at our table grill, it was delicious. The side dishes, kimchi 2 others were really my favorite because I love vegetables. Portions of the side dishes were a bit too small, but the servers kindly brought us more. Each person at the table got their own rice in a covered stainless steel bowl and lid, which kept it hot. Today I ordered soy garlic wings and tteokbokki with cheese w/o fish cakes and ramen. Normally I don 't have issues when ordering here but when I finally got so the way home, I realized the thing most unwanted (the dish cakes) was in my bowl. I called and the same person that took my order answered and when I addressed the issue, he said I don 't recall hearing you say that... I 'm sorry and then silence. No kind of conflict resolution or anything. So I said, Can I at least get the dish remade ? He said, Uhh lemme ask the kitchen . At that point I knew that I was becoming more upset and I just ended the call. Very disappointed.
This review is for their lunch menu. My family went here over the weekend and ordered nengmyun, mandoo, and seafood pajeon. Please believe me when I say the premade nengmyun packet you get from the Korean store is by far superior. The mandoo tasted spoiled which we spit out immediately. Seafood pajeon was just weird. It was overly thick and cakey. Service could also improve but that was the least of my worries. We paid $53 for terrible Korean food. Maybe the BBQ is good but let 's be honest, you can 't mess up on meat. This was honestly some of the worst Korean food I 've had.
Busy spot for KBBQ, would recommend booking a reservation if you do plan on coming here. Good quality meats and great portion sizes. Fast service whenever you do click the call button they provide at each table. The combos are good assortment of the variety of meats they have. The naengmyeon was alright wouldn’t say it’s a must try, would recommend just their specialty in BBQ stuff more. Overall, had a great experience here and would recommend it!
Food was really good, service needs to be better than a call button. Server should be looking and checking table to see if anything is needed or taken away. This place is super cool. Went with another couple and had a great time. The food was really good and fun to cook at our table. The service is solid and just a good show. Will be back for sure. Great job y'all.
