My wife and I got there around 8pm. There were lots of people there but the service was quick. Since the evening was sunny and warm, we took our ice cream over to a railroad exhibit next door where there were benches. Being from Winnipeg, we fully expected to have to eat and run before we had to give a major blood donation to the mosquitoes. Instead, we didn't see one of the little buggers! We really enjoyed our ice cream as a result.After you finish your ice cream, turn left out of the parking lot then turn right immediately. There is a little park just down that road toward the lake called Norman Park. The beach in that park is a lovely place to view the lake.
Located next to the Railway Museum, this must be one of the earliest DQ's or a retro outlet. Lots of parking available all around the building.This DQ only has ice cream treats, and has no seating. You order from 1 of the 2 windows at the front of the building. The young lady that served us was very pleasant and our treats were very well made and served quickly.Great novelty store and we will gladly return.
The ice cream is great. Standing outside is not great at times because of rain bugs etc, service is good. Does not have inside seating or food to eat. Biuilding is old and could at least use a redoing of the outside to make it more attractive. There doesn't seem to have been any work done to it in years.laso only open part of the year.
Everyone in Kenora love Dairy Queen Store. Every year, we can't wait for the store to open and at the end of the season, we are all sad because it is closing....great selection of ice cream, ice cream cake, and much more. Close to a park and a beach where you can sit and relax and enjoy the outdoor. Definitely, a place to stop.... Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Awesome ice cream desserts and amazing staff. I don't blame them for taking debit only during this time safer for them and more people should understand that it's for the safety of the staff that it's debit only at This time. Keep up the great work Kenora dairy Queen you guys rock
For those out of town. It's only open during spring and summer. It also have a limited menu, ice cream only. Great treat on any day. Friendly and efficient service. If you don't have a sweet tooth, get the mini Blizzard over the small. Decent selection of ice cream.
Great local DQ location. We will go out of our way to stop by here. Lots of room to park and friendly staff. During COVID they are doing a good job at supporting social distancing with a controlled line and one way in and one way out.

Once per week in the summer we visit this location. Always friendly staff and short line ups. They have cakes as well.
