The outside seating area was like a daycare center at playtime. Lots of kids running and screaming like it was their living room. Inconsiderate parents conversed cluelessly as the kids ran past them. Staff tried to ask the kids to not run but were ignored by the hellions and their keepers. However, even with the constant bother and noise, the food came out fast and was delicious. Staff apologized for the lack of parenting skills and did their best to make the visit not terrible. Fingers crossed brunch time might be a better option for well-behaved offspring.
d’Alba is the perfect place to host a small meeting like the HBAA’s monthly Board meeting. Dominique took care of us in the private room, and we had everything we needed. The food it unique, tasty, and priced right. The Balloon Bread is a much share starter, and the pizzas can be shared or taken with, but likely not finished alone. Having vegetarian and mocktail options is a bonus. I look forward to working with Dominique and the d’Alba crew all year.
However, I find it quite frustrating how some parents manage their children. It’s tough to enjoy the experience when kids are allowed to scream and run around or when parents excessively praise their every move so loud that people three blocks away can hear them. It's really distracting! Aside from that, d'Alba is our favorite spot, and we always enjoy our time there.
Loved this place! It’s definitely family friendly and the staff were great. The food quality was good, I just wish there were a bit more options for people like me who are on a more restrictive diet. This is a wonderful neighborhood gem. It’s consistent and dependable, making it a family-friendly option. While it might be a bit too busy with kids for a romantic evening out, it’s still an excellent choice overall. The brunch here is outstanding!
This place has a great vibe both indoor outside. Pizza is fantastic!…have had a few other dishes that are so-so. But appetizers and pizza have always been excellent!
Overall, it's an excellent restaurant with delicious food, a perfect atmosphere for families, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend it!
