My husband, our two small daughters, and myself came to this restaurant for supper on the suggestion of a local campground owner. We had Galvaude, chicken nuggets, smoked meat sandwich, and a club. The total came to $40, which I consider a great price for...the volume of food we received. We then went to the attached ice cream shop and had some incredible dessert. I wish I were I the area longer as I would be coming back here!!!
Person serving gelato didn't speak English, while none of us can speak French, but you don't need the language to order ice cream after all, don't you. Just a bit of pointing the right size then the right containers was sufficient enough to get what...we needed. Place was busy, but service was fast, what was also important the washrooms were clean.
I stumbled upon this place tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Despite being busy, everyone was practicing social distancing and wearing masks. The girl taking orders was organized and friendly. The restaurant was very clean. I ordered the Clam Strips and a small poutine, both of which were delicious. I will definitely be returning.
came here for the lobster roll at $7.15 per or $11 for the combo, delicious!!!! Really fresh and tasty, good ingredients, good service from staff and very clean restaurant and washrooms. Best poutine I have ever had, hands down. Chicken strips were really good. Ice cream was amazing with very generous portion sizes. Was able to order with my limited knowledge of French and the servers were very patient and helpful.
Decided on the 1/2 hot chicken sanwdwich which came with a side of coleslaw, gravy and a whole lotta fries. Nothing wrong with that all was good. No fancy atmosphere, no fancy service and no fancy prices.
Stayed at the little motel next door and wanted a simple dinner. Great little place, poutine is the best, great burgers and hot dogs. Just what we needed and better than we expected

I tried the lobster roll, which was decent but had a lot of salad. My husband's sister had the fish and chips and really enjoyed them.
