Everything about Dandy Lane was delightful. You felt welcome as soon as you stepped in door and the attentive, friendly service doesn't stop there. Their menu was a blend of favourites with a Dandy Lane touch and interesting new dishes. I can confidently say that the Herb & Permesan Rosti is amazing! Their coffee is easily among the best in Hobart and was thoroughly enjoyed by the both of us. The thought and care that has went into every aspect of their cafe is perfectly balanced and lends itself to a wonderful experience. Highly, highly recommend that you drop into Dandy Lane.
This neat little cafe hidden up a little lane is something special. Back for brunch for a second visit today. Menu is seasonal and diverse, and left my son and I struggling to decide what to pick. I chose the brioche French toast which was delicious with a few little quirky twists that made it special. My son chose the dukkah eggs served with gorgeous mushrooms and spinach. The coffee is also great, and very friendly service. We will be back as there are so many more items on the menu we want to try.
I've been here multiple times in the past few months with friends and it's safe to say I've found my new brunch paradise! Every meal is generous, packed full of gorgeous flavours and served smoothly with a smile. The halloumi and pumpkin salad is incredible and they even have American style brioche burgers on the menu as well as fruit smoothies and great coffee to boot. The waiters are all lovely, friendly and happy to help and the cafe playlist is so groovy! I couldn't fault a thing.
Had an awesome breakfast at Dandy Lane. Di heard about this cafe and after finding it up the lane we understood why people were talking about it. Awesome coffee, a great breakfast menu full of different options, not just the standard; and great personal service. These guys have really nailed it.

Excellent coffee, friendly and fast service, space for a pram! Wonderful food. The cornbread was amazing. Can't wait to go back! Definitely my new favourite spot for brunch.
This is my favourite cafe in Hobart. Love the coffee and the food is delicious. Reasonably priced and a very good (if limited) gluten free selection
Boiled eggs in batter are the best, nice and quiet location & friendly staff. Very diverse menu so there's sure to be something for everyone
Went for a little family lunch and were served delicious burgers and avo smash! All day breakfast is always a winner to me!!! Loved it !

Mouth watering house made, Hollaindaise on Bacon benny. (Eggs Benedict) poached eggs, bacon on sour dough toast) Service fantastic,
I don't think you could have a bad meal here. Only been the once but everything was spot on. Can't go wrong.
