This is a fantastic little bakery. I've been in twice, and the staff were always friendly and helpful, and the place is clean and nice with a few tables and bakers making and decorating treats behind the counter. I've tried 2 of their many tall layer cakes the carrot cake is good if you like it with lots of stuff in it (I usually don't, and this was still very good), but the sweet potato cake is amazing, unique and delicious. The caramel apple pie was also excellent. There's lots of other cakes, pies and other treats I'm anxious to go back and try, though I may not be able to resist getting the sweet potato cake again. The desserts here are so fresh it's incredible. The cupcakes/cakes/brownies are so moist, they are made here on the spot. There's always a line and the smell makes your mouth water. I've tried everything and it just takes desserts to another level. The customer service is just as sweet. All smiles and very helpful. Definitely a must visit spot. I would have posted a picture but sorry not sorry I inhaled it because I thought someone else would eat it. Seriously though, definitely worth the cardio you'll have to do afterwards.
Incredible cakes and pies! I've stopped by the NW DC location several times and purchased cakes and slices alike. I can recommend EVERYTHING, and individual slices are now bigger! You may as well drop some extra dough on a whole cake if you find one that you like. All in all, one of the better bakeries in the area! Grab a few cupcakes and share with some friends, be sure to ask about their tasting they can put together for you.
Danielles Desserts has the most delicious desserts I have eaten. I organize all my vacation desserts from this institution and was never disappointed. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Danielles Desserts for family and friends. Besides, I often stop after work to wait for traffic to go down, and have a piece of coconut pineapple cake and tea. Very recommended!!

During my business trip, I made a special effort to visit Danielle's Desserts, and it truly exceeded my expectations. As a coconut enthusiast, I couldn't resist trying a slice of the fluffy coconut cake. It was moist, rich, and packed with flavor. Without a doubt, it was one of the best desserts I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying!
The fluffy coconut cake was delicious! Very recommended if you love dessert especially cake. They had other options like cookies and they also have many other good looking cakes. I would recommend getting there early in the day, as I was told, that they plan to close, so many people go there by then.
The yellow cake with chocolate icing is likely the best in the area—truly amazing and superior to Rare Sweets and Cakeroom. We always make it a point to stop by whenever we're in Galleria. The service is consistently cheerful and friendly, and they encourage you to sample a variety of treats.
The desserts are absolutely incredible! The bread pudding and the caramel apple cake are both must-tries, especially when they’re available.
