We've been to Zenola a few times now, and every time we come away even bigger fans. Everything we've had was great, but the spreads (all of them), fattoush (salad), shankleesh tomato, allepo batresh, and believe it or not the cheesecake have been our favorites. The warm pita is great. Wonderful cocktails, wine, and beer selection. The staff are super friendly and have great recommendations. They're also completely fine with several rounds of orders, which is great when we're not sure how hungry we are to start. Food arrives quickly after ordering. Our family loves dining at Zenola. The flavorful spreads and mezze are crowd pleasers. We continue to try new things on the menu and have some of our regular items we enjoy ordering. Great place to order a bunch of appetizers and share items to get to experience many items on the menu. The craft cocktails are superb. It is a local restaurant with plenty of elegance. We can walk to it from the trail running through Vienna, which allows us to enjoy their bargain happy hour too!
Mediterranean food with a bit of exquisite creativity for your palate. Everything was superb from the Hot and Cold Mezze to our Entrée. We enjoyed the Kibbe Nayyeh, Fattouch (salad) that has just the right amount of dressing. Shankleesh and tomato, always a fan favorite and a great burst of flavor. Wow. What a fantastic restaurant! I recently went here with my husband and my mom. It was such a welcome change from the other Lebanese restaurants in the area. The service was great, good ambiance, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish that came out was delicious, each complimented the other. We went looking for a Mediterranean restaurant and this this not disappoint! This Lebanese eatery is a gem. From it's fresh, modern, open floor plan to the house made hummus and the delicious warm bread. Definitely worth trying and coming back to again and again. I went to Zenola for dinner on Friday, August 27 and dined at the bar. The restaurant's interior was minimalist and had a somewhat cold ambiance, but interesting flatware, serving dishes, and artful food plating helped to make up for it in my opinion. The restaurant was very clean. The bartender made me a good Negroni, which was served on the rocks in a rocks glass. I looked at the menu and decided to order the Scallops after hearing good things about them.
I haven't had food this good in a while. Everything we tried, from the mixed grill platter to the veggie lasagna, was exceptional. We even indulged in every dessert on the menu, and they were just as delicious as the rest of the meal. The cheesecake was particularly amazing. The chef even took the time to come out and chat with us, showing how sweet and friendly he was. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning.
I 've never paid so much and been so underwhelmed. Very small portions. Pretty sure the seabass was actually rock fish. I don 't know. I feel like I 've had better meals at Kabob Korner in Fairfax for 10% the price of this meal. Service was meandering or complacent. It 's a pretty, but overpriced restaurant and I can 't say I 'd ever go back.

Excellent, interesting food. Some recipes are quite intricate and delicious. Great service (a rarity these days). warm ambiance and neighborhood feel. Balanced. Portions are for very skinny people and surprisingly scant options for vegetarians at a quality Lebanese restaurant. Order a few appetizers and sides! It is all delicious.
Kibbe Nayyeh and Tabbouleh were amazing !!! Great service too and bread was perfect and warm.
