One Sunday I was craving soul food so I stopped at Dan’s. I purchased the fried chicken which was hard, and salty. The Mac and cheese taste like boxed kraft mac and cheese sauce that you can buy in the grocery store, and the dressing was a disgusting mess it taste like someone had sprinkled a whole bottle of sage in it. I threw everything in the garbage!!! Don’t waste your time or money buying food from this place. It’s not SOUL FOOD. You will be very disappointed!
I used to love the food even when the service was lacking the Mac and cheese on Sunday 9/4 was absolutely horrible, it tasted boxed and not baked and the cheese was sliding off the noodles, my dressing was way too wet and my Turkey wing was just ok … for the price i pay i want my food cooked right and hot! Not sure who was in that kitchen but they need to quit! I was so disappointed when i got all the way home
I originally wanted a burger polish from this place but they were sold out. So I ended up getting some fried chicken instead. WOW! They seasoned that chicken very well. It was A little dry but I had some Chik-Fil-A sauce and that worked out well but they put some good seasoning on that chicken. If they season their burgers the way they do their chicken I see why they were sold out.
Messed up my whole order should have been bake chicken me with Mac and cabbage but instead they put barbecue sauce on my food and give me 2 rice I didn’t ask for. Now they won’t answer the phone Never again I’m allergic to barbecue sauce Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
They had the standard Soul Food menu items, as usual, but they also had Potato Salad available, a menu item Soul Food Restaurants don’t usually carry unless it’s a Holiday. It’s a Holiday Menu Every Week Dan’s Soul Food and Cafe’!!!
I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN THE PORTIONS ARE SMALL AND THE ATTITUDE IS HORRIBLE DO NOT EVER GO THERE!!! WHEN PEOPLE ARE SPENDING YOU NEED TO BE PLEASANT
