the darby house is a beautiful place with so many pleasant things made for a wonderful high-time experience. with the entire property, you will get your guests a private and spacious event room. we had our ceremony in the open on the terrace, dinner in the dining room, cocktail hour and dancing in the dining room. this allowed us to enjoy the entire space, with a quiet space away from the dance floor for anyone who needed a break! darby house offers a day of coordinator that helps to run everything smoothly, from the direction of the providers as they arrive and set up to ensure that the ceremony begins on time to help with the flow of high time. in the planning phase, they are coordinated w...
Honestly, we fell in love with Darby House the second we drove onto the property. With the beautiful tree lines and white fences, my husband and I could already picture the pictures we could take there. Things only got better when we saw the actual venue and how GORGEOUS it is. The waterside terrace made for an absolutely dreamy wedding ceremony, and I couldn’t imagine a better reception room for after. My sister's wedding could not have been a more perfect day, and that's largely due to the beautiful Darby House and the phenomenal staff there. Alexa, our wedding coordinator, took such good care of us at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, and the venue itself was stunning. We did the ceremony on the waterside terrace, cocktail hour in the Racing Room, and the reception in Dining Room, and each space was perfect. The bridal party suites were awesome too. I can't recommend the Darby House enough!
We had our wedding here on 8/7/21. It is a truly gorgeous venue and run by some incredible staff. We danced the night away! Our only downside is that the venue really does not have appropriate internet connection to run a live-stream event. In the time of COVID, we found this really upsetting because we had friends and family around the country waiting for it to begin. If this is something that is of great concern to you, we recommend having a conversation with the venue about it.
My daughter had an amazing wedding ceremony at the Darby House. Jade did an outstanding job coordinating all the important details and nothing was missed. The property was gorgeous and no venue in Columbus compares to it's beauty and privacy. The wedding took place outside next to a river, which was a stunning atmosphere. All of the staff members and bar tenders were top notch. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PERFECT CELEBRATION!!!!!
