The restaurant is usually packed every time we drive by. Hey! we should go there and try it out was our thought on this evening. So we did. The ambiance of the restaurant was great. There was music playing throughout the restaurant at a noise level that you can easily converse without feeling like you are yelling over the music. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation. The hostess seated us with food menus however she just laid down the bar menu without an explanation as to what they were. We arrived at Darfon's at our 8:00pm reservation and we were told we still would have to wait 20 minutes. We waited for about 30 minutes and the hostess was somewhat rude. We were also bothered by watching people coming in from their cars, asking about the wait time, and getting sat before us. The environment was extremely noisy. The food wasn't terrible, but it was all way over seasoned and loaded with too many ingredients. If it were scaled back a little I feel like it would reflect the gourmet prices they have on the meals.
we had a tasty bite! we have celebrated a birthday and have enjoyed excellent service and tasty eating. 10/10 recommend the black and blue pasta! as surprised with a piece of dying for Italian high time cake for my birthday was so appreciated. in any case a place I hope to come next time in the city!
I've been here three times and they're not disappointed! I loved the ahi tuna with the crispy asparagus and tasty sauce, and the steak was cooked nicely. the gnocchi were so soft and well paired with the crab cake. the desserts had the perfect amount of sweet. 10/10 and big service!

our last station before we drive home, and that was one of our favorites. my man had a chicken-getting goddess, which was fabulous. the filet was super boiled and was very delicious. this restaurant will go on our list for return.
my daughter was in town and I wanted to take her to a nice dinner without having to do with the city of nashville. that was perfect. meal was very good, service was great, and I did not break the back. very happy and will be back.
Fun brunch gathering on the patio. Lovely selection of yummy champagne cocktails on special. David was a great server!
