I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but that changed when I placed a pickup order at 8:30 PM. When I arrived to collect my order, I found they had closed early. I knocked on the front door but got no response. I tried calling the restaurant, but there was no voicemail, and the message said the number was out of service. Is this really how you run a business? I even went around to the back and knocked on that door, but still no one answered. To make matters worse, I saw a group of employees in a white van laughing at me. It's safe to say that I will NEVER return. You've lost a long-time customer, Daruma.
I did an online order and was given a time it would be ready, I was there right on time after driving 30 mins. They then tell me they're behind on online orders and it's going to be 20 or more minutes to get my order ready. They didn't offer anything for my inconvenience and the extremely long wait time, it would have been nice to get a discount. The food was good but they don't give you as much when you get it to go as they do at the hibachi table. I love it when they sing happy Birthday though, the loud drums are so much fun!!
The restaurant appeared to be understaffed during our visit. They made mistakes with our cocktails and there was no bartender on duty. Normally, this place is a favorite of ours and our go-to spot for gatherings and birthdays. However, it seemed off this time around and wasn’t performing at its usual level. While it’s definitely not the worst hibachi restaurant in town, it also doesn't stand out in any way.
The food was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. The chef was cheerful and entertaining, making the experience even more enjoyable. There was plenty of parking available, and the menu offered a wide variety of food and cocktails. The staff was courteous and made us feel very welcome. Overall, we had a fantastic time and I highly recommend this place!

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly and lively. However, I found the food to be overly salty, and most dishes had a similar taste. There seemed to be an excessive amount of butter or lard used in the preparation.
I attended a work event during lunchtime and we were the only group in the restaurant. The staff was excellent and the food was delicious; everyone had a wonderful time.
Excellent food! I really enjoyed the noodles. This was my first visit, and I definitely plan to return.
This is my favorite Japanese steakhouse! The staff is amazing, and the food is excellent!
