Lay off the spices! Stumbled upon this spot recently, couldn’t get a good taste for the meat it was so saucy and peppery, the spicy slaw almost ruined the whole meal, no flavor just spicy sauce, like choking, runny nose, headache fm this hot goo! the brisket had too much fat for us. On a good note the beans were a meal and allowed to be saucy and over seasoned! Portions are plenty , Service was booming which I think were more locals who consider VA the south. If they let up on the spices and trash the slaw I’d go back for a bone and some beans!

First time trying Dave's BBQ while on vacation, and it will be a regular go-to for some excellent BBQ! We got the 3 meat platter with spicy cole slaw and potato salad and the pulled pork platter with green beans and potato salad. Extremely tasty with very generous portions. I highly recommend Dave's BBQ for your BBQ cravings! Sorry I couldn't wait and had to sample the potato salad!

Just had a Briscit Sandwitch combo, and it was deeeeeelicious ! They know what they are doing, and meat with or without any souse was just a piece of heaven in mouth. And probably the best slaw I ever had. Nice and loose atmosphere, funny and easygoing staff and reasonable prices ! Will come back many times for sure.

Ordered a pulled chicken bbq with slaw. And when the slaw's pretty good, IMO it's going to be good. And it was. Had some pork spare ribs. And one bite and it was really good. Haven't had good bbq in quite some time and I can't even remember ones being that good anyways. Had these and the t-shirt too! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

If your looking for real deal BBQ with all the trimmings then look no further. Stopped in on a Sunday had plenty of choices, food and service was great. You order the food and they prepare it right in front of you. Took half the meal home large portions. Want to try the smoked wings

I am texas bred and have had Texas bbq from places with lines out the door and featured food network. Dave's bbq has better brisket than they do. The sausage is amazing the beans are fantastic and the spicy slaw is good. The pulled pork is really really good as well.

I always leave with no room left in my stomach. The people are nice, the food is fantastic. And now they have a bigger, better location. I'm glad yall could move into a bigger place!!!!
