I had a disappointing experience at Dave's in Cleveland Heights. There was only one person working the counter and register when I arrived. I ordered my sub at 12:15 but didn't receive it until 1:30, which was frustrating as I only have a half-hour lunch break. Despite there being a long line of 5-6 people ahead of me, the lone worker was moving very slowly and another employee who arrived around 1pm didn't offer to help. Additionally, I was charged for a fountain drink that I had already paid for. I believe some compensation should have been offered for the long wait. In my opinion, if a restaurant doesn't have enough staff to provide timely service, they should consider closing their doors...
Dave would be shaking his head in disappointment with how this store is run. The food is fine but the service is soo bad. No one seems to pick up the phone at peak hours (11:30-1:30) M-Saturday and the prices on various apps are super inflated. Something needs to be done and unfortunately Dave seems to not care about his stores any more. $21.00 for a sub sandwich. You clowns have lost your mind!!!! #davesubscoventry
I ordered a Reuben sandwich and it was terrible – mostly fat and very unappetizing. I could only manage to eat two bites before throwing the rest away. The price was also very high at $32 for three sandwiches, and they were not generous with the fillings or toppings. Overall, the meal was disappointing and I would not recommend wasting your money here.
Bad area for parking but this place has Free parking across the street. There was only one person working, but she engaged every customer that walked in. Even when she was in the back making subs. Great job! Parking: There is a free parking lot directly across the street.

The restaurant was understaffed, there was no music playing, and our order got lost, resulting in a 45-minute wait for our food. DoorDash orders were served before ours. This was not the fault of the employees, but more staff is needed to improve service.
Subs are delicious.cashier is usually very friendly, however; it's a dark skin lady that works there.i believe she's the manager! and her customer service sucks!

Love me some Dave's. So I went out of my way to head to the Coventry location. Hours on door say 11am. It was 11:30 and door was locked. Lame.

I had the number #23 and my boyfriend had the number #13 and overall really really good a little bit of a wait time will come back again
We ordered the original dish and both my dad and I finished it quickly! It was gone in minutes!
