Prices have gone way up while portion sizes on broiled fish and many of the other items have dropped substantially. Very disappointing as this used to be such a great community staple but with “shrinkflation” in place, it’s not economically affordable for the average sized family in Jamestown. I live out of state now so when I come home to visit family, we usually go to Davidson’s. Based on my last experience, it’s looking like we will be going to other local staples unfortunately.
This is the best spot for a fish fry! My family has been visiting Davidson's for many years, and whenever I'm back in Jamestown, NY, it's a must-have for me. I would rate the food with 5 stars, but our waitress this time fell short. Typically, their service is outstanding, but she seemed too distracted to attend to us, which is unusual. Despite that, I highly recommend you check this place out. You'll really enjoy it!
This is our favorite local restaurant! Their fish recipes are fantastic. Salads are fresh, mozzarella sticks are different and quite tasty. The restaurant is easy to locate and there is plenty of parking. We arrived at lunch and service was fast and courteous. We will return!
