I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering from Davie's Roti Shop Smoothie. It ended up being the worst curry goat and oxtail experience I've ever had. The oxtails had a strange clove and cinnamon candle taste, and the curry goat was so bland it seemed like no masala was used at all. On top of that, the meat was overcooked. I spent $40 on a meal for myself and my boyfriend, and we barely managed to eat three bites. As a Guyanese woman, I felt both disappointed and dissatisfied with the food and preparation. I enjoyed a delightful lunch featuring curry chicken, chana, dahl (served in a separate container), and buss-up shot roti. The spicy flavors were all exceptional, and the peppery taste in the dahl was a delightful surprise. I paired my meal with maubi, which was just right—not too bitter and not too sweet. The service was impressively good for a counter-service food shop, and I loved the Guyanese accent of the woman who took my order. To finish off a lovely experience, I grabbed a mango smoothie to go. There are plenty of other dishes I’m eager to try, so I will definitely be back!
I frequent this charming restaurant often! It truly is the best place to eat. I find myself coming here regularly. The food is outstanding, the staff is professional, and the prices are reasonable. I love enjoying a great dinner here.
The oxtail and jerk chicken here are incredibly addictive! This restaurant offers a wide range of options and provides excellent customer service. The smoothies are made fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I found wax particles in my smoothie, and the food was greasy. The tamarind sauce was overly salty, which left me very frustrated. To make matters worse, I accidentally swallowed a piece of plastic.
I absolutely love the food, but one small suggestion: I think they should open at 6 AM since it's breakfast time after all!
This resto hits the spot. Their oxtail with rice and beans is my favorite. I'll definitely go back soon.
The service was excellent, the ambiance was lovely, and the food was absolutely fantastic.

Its clean and quiet. I've only gone in for doubles and they are pretty good.
Their doubles are BOMB!!! Can't wait to go back and have some more!
