Hi had the salad and the duck two Corus Meal and a glass of wine my lovely wife had the short rib and the Atlantic char and cheesecake, and of course we shared. The duck was tasty but should’ve been two legs one just wasn’t enough the good thing was it came with a bean salad with it that filled you up, the Atlantic char wife really enjoyed it especially the garnishes with it. The salad was just OK nothing to write home about, The short rib was very tasty but again very little, wasn’t too bad not sure if I would go back again but wasn’t too disappointed. I already wanted to try one because of this restaurant, but was always a bit careful because the prices are quite high and I am so tired to go in restaurants that call themselves fine eating and calculate as if they are, but at the end come short. (This city is loaded with these species of places.) we last night bite the sphere and went. I must say that after 3 years in kingston we have finally found the restaurant we were looking for! this place checks all boxes. food quality is incredible, ambiente is beautiful, service is great, prices are still a hauch on the high page, but it doesn't matter to me to pay for quality and that's exactly what we have here last night. the day is at the front...
We love Days on Front! Pre-pandemic it was one of our favourite places to dine at. Amazing food, great wine selection and top-notch service. Have not dined in recently but ordered their takeout prime rib special and it was equally as good! Friendly, accommodating staff despite being extremely busy and one of the best prime rib dinners I’ve tasted. 10/10.
First time customers from Toronto while visiting the city. Food and service was top notch and very well priced. I agree the portions are large, but I was happy to take home the leftovers. We thought we were in the wrong place when we arrived, as it’s in a strip mall, but don’t be thrown off, a lovely surprise awaits you inside.
Thank you Days on Front for an absolutely delicious Takeout meal tonight. I especially recommend the Lamb Ragu. My husband really enjoyed the Short Ribs starter and the Scallops main meal. The bottle of Merlot was the perfect accompaniment too.
fantastic meal! the first courses are very demanding and taste amazing! we also loved our main dishes and the four times chocolate cheese cake was light and refined. highly recommended!
my only regret is not coming sooner. eating was ineffective. the personal was friendly and attentive. clean, quiet, great ambiente. definitiw a hidden gem in kingston.
The food is top notch and couldn't be better, the cheesecake is the best I've ever had, and I don't even like cheesecake! Eat here and you will be impressed
Best meal we have had in Kingston since we moved here. The butter tart dessert was one of the best desserts I have ever had anywhere.
