If you can, avoid this restaurant! I'm not sure what happened during the time of Covid, but things have definitely changed for the worse. They not only messed up my order, but they also served eggs benedict with a fried egg instead of a poached egg, which was very disappointing. On top of that, we had to wait over 20 minutes for our bill, and even after asking multiple times, it never arrived. The service was so poor that we had to ask another waitress for our original waitress. My husband had to ask for the bill multiple times at the front counter before giving up and leaving, only to be accused by the manager of not paying. This restaurant was absolutely terrible. I will never go back to this De Dutch location or any De Dutch restaurant in the future. I went with five other people for a birthday brunch and our food took nearly 45 minutes to arrive. When I spoke to the manager at the end of the meal, she claimed that this was normal. It was well past the morning breakfast rush (we received our food at 1:30pm)! The burger I ordered was burnt and made with a thin, frozen patty, and they even forgot the cheese. The prices were very high for what we received. The server never checked on us to see how our food was, and simply brought the bill without asking if we wanted anything else. Sadly our family experience was disappointing.Made reservations on May 3rd for Mothers day.We arrived they said they have No reservations for us.We booked in advance because there would be 10+ people.We arrived at 11amTook 30 minutes for our drinks. Simple order coffees, waters, ice- tea, three alcohol drinks)Then waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for our food. To top off our experience the food was disappointing. Spoke with the manager with respect and concern with whom only said sorry and walked away.Sorry De Dutch we will never be back. I don 't recommend this restaurant
I've been coming for 10 years (at least) now, and while it's always been a great experience, I am beyond impressed with the waitress this morning (7/27). The restaurant isn't super busy but there are more than a few tables, she's seating and hosting, and my service was impeccable. She was quick, checked in with me, and saw that I needed my cheque before I was even looking for her to grab it. Beyond impressive being she was the only one I saw on the floor. Friendly servers with freshly prepared breakfast dishes, but my one and only disappointment was the prices that were tad bit high.Most of the dishes are just pancakes with a few Dutch pannenkoek options but with pretty much all the dish prices inching towards $20, having your breakfast here makes you feel on the fence if you are indeed getting ripped off.
Heard about de Dutch from friends decided to come in on Victoria day. Place was packed but surprisingly got seated quickly.The service was friendly and quick. The food was hot and fresh. Only had to wait about 15 minutes for the food despite the restaurant being packed.Would highly recommend going.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant near Coquitlam Centre. The interior appeared very modern and the service was friendly. The food was delicious and, even though we weren't very hungry, they were happy to split the order for us. I look forward to returning again in the future.

Very busy today as it was Victoria day but they handled it well, a small wait time but worth it!! The food was delicious and my server did a wonderful job. Definitely coming back.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved it!!
