For a restaurant in a hotel that's ancient, you'll be very surprised. Good place to go celebrate something. Great food, and amazing service. Was with a table of 5, and we ordered way too much for ourselves. Decent quantity of food, and delicious. Did I mention the food was good? Garlic green beans with the spices they come with are my favorite. Second to the cheese-fondue-dressed potatoes, and the Mac and cheese with sweet drop peppers. The only thing that was strange was the salmon belly. Seemed very out of place in this menu, but I'm very much not an expert. Made reservation and We looked forward to an evening Date and left disappointed. 1 of the items we started with wasn’t what we were expecting, server didn’t really have any interest, so we had waited for an entrées and order two different steaks, for $45 dollars a steak they were surprisingly terrible. Cooked and season great but both steaks were completely dry and chewy, unbelievable chewy.Server never even came around to ask how the meals were. My husband and I needed a dinner date, and he picked this place. I'm so glad he did! Everything was top-notch, including the service. Our server was so kind and considerate.I appreciate the way the restaurant is set up. The ambiance and decorations created a very relaxing yet sophisticated atmosphere. It felt like we were tucked away into our own little private world even though the restaurant was a full house.Additionally, the cheesecake was the perfect dessert to finish the night with, and we normally opt out of dessert.Thank you!
First of all they are dog friendly so that wonbig points with me. Shrimp ceviche was great and Kenny was my server on the patio she was wonderful. I did not ask her to but she removed the salmon from my bill which was certainly not necessarily but the exceptional service by this young lady. Family night at this restaurant gave us an amazing vibe. As we're walking in we heard the music from bar downstairs which was really cool. For appetizers we chose mussels and they tasted really good. As we were going out as a family we wanted to get a meal that was family sharing so we had this awesome plate for 4. For dessert the choice was peanut butter cake. We absolutely loved everything we had!
Located in the monarch hotel, I've passed this place hundreds of times and had no idea what a hidden gem I'd missed. We sat in the lounge, and the ambience was a combination of chill, cool and a bit old timey at the same time. The food was excellent. The servers were so...friendly! The burrata was amazing.
This was such a cool place! Really unassuming from front almost hidden by a hotel. With such a huge culinary footprint we are happily pleased with not only the speed of service but the quality was fantastic! This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion. Looking forward to coming back!
We truly had a wonderful experience at de Fuego, and it was good enough that we'll definitely be back.
