After visiting property nearby I stopped in for lunch, arriving at precisely 13:41 hours. I don 't know if we can serve you etc., the usual fare. The waitress then told me what I could have, and the choice was essentially anything as long as it did not require cooking. The choice being extremely limited I attempted to console myself with dried meat and its little salad . Get this! For 16 Euros I was served a plate of quasi frozen dried meat ; indeed, it was more akin to cardstock instead of any meat that I 've ever encountered, both in its utter lack of any flavor and especially in its consistency. We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a walking holiday so had the set menu both evenings. The starters were excellent we particularly enjoyed the cheese brulee made using local cheese. Dauphinoise potatoes were rich but extremely satisfying. The second evening we had maigret de canard which was cooked to perfection finished with tiramisu with myrtille flavour (rather than coffee) which was much more to my taste. It is always high risk with set menus but we were very pleased on both occasions. Breakfast was a little more limited in choice but pain au raisin had a great taste I enjoyed a choice of herbal teas.
We had lunch here on the terrace. Although our food was good, we felt that the service could be a lot better. There were not enough staff and they were not deployed appropriately. As a result, the service we received was slow. There is also a smell of sewage on the terrace which is less than pleasant.
We ate her for dinner whilst on holiday in this beautiful part of the world. We all enjoyed the 34 euro set menu, which is very good. Between the four of us, we tried nearly all the dishes and everything was excellent, especially the fish and the lamb. We will definitely return!

We were attracted by the flowery terrace of this restaurant, and we were not disappointed. service is quite correct, and food is good. I recommend the leaf to the bits that is a delight. the only reproach I can do is that the dishes are too copyy
This was already one of the best places in Abondance but with the new owner it is a different level. Really good restaurant, the chef is especially very good in fish. Coquiles, Arctic Char are very well prepared.

Friday night at the Abbey Restaurant. We've been molten to the grave. The fondue was good. the restaurant is beautiful and the well-flowing terrace. Quick service.

We’ve now visited twice with a large group of people and both times had wonderful food, good service in a lovely warm atmosphere. Will definitely return!
We have eaten at this venue dozens of times and have never been let down by the quality of the food or the standard of service.
