Utter disgrace! Meal was awful and over priced. Lady was the chef and waitress and couldn’t manage the weight of taking orders and dealing with customers. She sold her food as really intricate and so for the price we had high expectations. We soon found out this was the biggest tourist trap and scam as she has clearly microwaved the dishes, my lamb was served cold, the wine was Luke warm not to mention 7 of us had finished our food and we were ready to leave but one (simple) dish hadn’t been served almost an hour later. Lady spoke good English but as soon as we had a minor complaint she said she couldn’t understand and her English ‘wasn’t good’. She had a go at my friend as she had asked for...
Un pur hasard, mais comme dit Isabelle, notre hôte, on ne vient pas par hasard. Endroit chaleureux où l on est accueilli par une dame au chapeau un peu extravagante qui n a rien à prouver. Après avoir fait connaissance avec nos voisins de table, rencontre mémorable, nous avons dégusté sa fondue suisse parfumée de différentes saveurs, sa tarte au citron à tomber par terre, sa tarte au flan délicieuse. Isabelle the boss is a colorful character, a warrior as Chatel's colleagues say. A person in the heart who gives himself to his restaurant with an authentic search for contact and exchange with his clients. We ate at 6 a Swiss fondue with 12 potatoes and mushrooms. An exceptional dish concocted with love by Isabelle. And homemade desserts with lemon pies or macarons. It's a very beautiful culinary and human experience that we have just lived. Very good small dishes mixed by the lady in the hat. It’s not just a nice meeting, it’s also a good address! Not to be missed during a visit to Chatel.

Great food and great service. Went above and beyond. The food and drinks were great. We also sampled some local charcuterie which I would recommend.
From cocktail to dessert, to the dish, everything was excellent and hearty! Accompanied with a very warm welcome and service, really a nice meeting!
