Arrivés à cinq convives à 12h15, la salle étant complète, la serveuse nous promet une table une demie heure plus tard. En attendant, nous commandons une bouteille pour patienter.... une heure plus tard, toujours pas de table disponible... une heure et demie plus tard, toujours rien. Au bout de deux heures, sur insistance, la serveuse réorganise une table (libre depuis belle lurette). Nous nous installons et patientons à nouveau pour qu'on prenne notre commande. Inutile de préciser qu'au bout d'un certain temps, d'autres clients ont abandonné pour aller voir ailleurs. Deux serveuses seulement sont là pour s'occuper de la salle, du bar, autant dire le personnel n'est pas assez nombreux en cas...
We arrived in Chablis on a weekday after the lunch hour, and could find no where to feed us, except for this place. They were actually closed but the lady in charge offered to feed us as long as we did not mind a sandwich. We accepted gratefully and were blessed with a lovely fresh baguette with cheese and ham and salad...and a glass of Chablis. We were very thankful and decided to go back the next day and eat there again at the correct time out of gratitude. Mistake. If you read the reviews, in our opinion this is nice restaurant with some good food on offer. The problem with this place, is the problem with Chablis - it's quiet and hard to find atmosphere.We found Chablis a 'ghost town', wandering around to find options to eat. When we arrived, there were 2 other people in the window. We ordered and ate. The couple left and we were the only people in place for half of our meal. Salle plutôt pas avenante, une bonne réfection serait de mise. Quand à la cuisine, assiette de charcuterie ok. Par contre jambon chablisien aux pâtes, pas bon, sauce pas bonne du tout. Dessert, île flottante à mon avis acheté tout prêt avec un décor filet de caramel aromatisé au rhum, pourquoi? Entrecôte caché par une sauce soit disant au poivre, qui est plus tôt une sauce au vin prête à être agrémentée à la demande, cela cache bien la nervosité de la viande. We haven't eaten here, but have been in the bar many times when visiting the busy Sunday Market in Chablis. The bar is a great stopping point and there is room both inside and out (weather prevailing) The staff are always pleasant and of course, your glass of Chablis is unavoidable! Coffees, hot chocolate, beers and other beverages available. Maybe next time we will eat there. Good, straightforward unpretentious French bar where the French go!
incroyable, un vrai taudis accueil déplorable chambre miteuse tout est fait pour que surtout vous n y retourniez pas le pire dans la malpropreté rien de professionnel tant dans la restauration que l hôtellerie tout est à revoir surtout passer votre chemin de plus le prix est très élevé pour une prestation aussi déplorable !!!
Les serveuses et le patron on beau être agréable...la qualité de la nouriture est vraiment pas terrible. De la terrine chabliseinne aux escargeots en passant par les entrecôtes... rien n'était bon.... et a cela il faut ajouter un service hyper lent ! je vous déconseil fortement ce café restaurant.
Le personnel est sympathique. Le cadre mériterait un bon coup de peinture. Les repas sont moyens. Il y a la quantité, même un peu trop, mais manque de qualité. Dommage!!! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
