We have visited this restaurant many times with friends from all over the world and always enjoyed its friendly atmosphere but yesterday - my wife's 70th birthday - was very different. We arrived for lunch and stood waiting for a few minutes but were ignored. We were surprised how many tables were empty - but soon found out why!We sat down in the shade and waited again but no one came. As a waiter passed I asked if it was ok to sit where we were. The waiter very rudely said "I don't know" and rushed off. He came back some minutes later and proceeded to give us a lecture on the correct way to behave on arrival! has not to be missed under any pretext if you pass through the gorges of the verdon and near the lake of saint cross. this simple-looking camping restaurant will not remember your attention at first but the view from the terrace is really spectacular. Originally from the alps, I have the habit of panoramic terraces, views of the lakes, and viewers in the ski resorts, but this point of view is extraordinary (contrast between the blue water of the lake and green vegetation, contrast of the reliefs.) Die Aussicht auf den See (lac de Sainte-Croix)und die umliegende Landschaft sind überwältigend.Bedienung:Die Bedienungen die meist aus jungen Männern besteht wirkte sehr gestresst und überarbeitet, waren aber trotzdem freundlich und kompetent zu den Gästen.Gerichte:Die Pizza war für französische Verhältnisse sehr lecker, der Salat wirkte etwas abgestanden war aber zum teil essbar.Fazit: Alles in allem war es ein gelungener und schöner Abend auf der Terrasse des Restaurants mit sehr guter Aussicht.
a restaurant to finish the day around the lake, that's what we were looking for. We landed in this restaurant, next to a campsite. reception rather nice we have dinner in terrace with lake view: superb. If you want to have a place on the terrace, you can book the speciality, the famous camembert roasted with honey and herbs, a delight! Served with potato, charcuterie and a salad. the whole is very copied and the attractive price considering the quantity, quality and view (about 15€ the dish)

I am not oa at the campsite but my love tempted me and I am really happy with it! the campsite is well located, lake view, the right spaces not to be one above each other as you often see, staff always helpful and kind, new bathrooms always clean. perhaps not the cheapest but the quality has its price. also the restaurant offered us a beautiful experience, simple but very gorgeous! I highly recommend to those who want to camp in the verdon!
We met this restaurant thanks to TripAdvisor.When we arrived in front (dur to find,!) a little surprised: a camping restaurant, resembling a snack/pizzeria, but we enjoyed it! their speciality (camembert in the oven) is a tuition, generous accompaniment with. and very good dessert (grassy coffee with excellent tiramisu.) And what to say from the terrace with a splendid view on the lake of saint cross has done!
on our course of the verdon gorges we stopped at this eagle restaurant; a very good suprise a warm welcome a terrace with a breathtaking view of the lake and dishes more than good and good. a simple card but with original and excellent proposals. Stop you and you'll see it really deserves to stop. a do without hesitation.
situated in height, life is superb. Cammbert is very good to say. However pizzas look like frozen and are not good, dry.Personals friendly without more. We've been looking for the restaurant for a long time and all to be disappointed in the end. we're not going back.

we ate 3 times at the restaurant of the campsite and we took 3 times the camembert because it is excellent. servers are pleasant and reasonable prices.
