The bread and bread bakery selection has gone downhill. They rarely have products to buy in bakery. I have gone many times to buy buns and even right when they open at 9:00 they have no other than a bag of discounted old, and tell me that they won't do this day. I also asked why they did not sell all the different types of rolls and rolls that they used to sell (such as Fergasa Brötchen, Focaccia, Olivehaine, Kalabrese Brötchen... etc. and was said that the head baker died and nobody else knows the recipes... I don't understand how the owners of De Luca 's do not know, or have their own recipes written somewhere from the articles they have been selling for decades, and what a bad apology why...
One of my favourite places to eat and shop in Winnipeg. The quality of their food is great, the staff is friendly, and it is such a cute little location. I've been coming here for lunch since I was a toddler and coming here for lunch has never lost it's special touch, it is one of my favourite places to share food with friends. Their bakery has yummy cookies other treats, and their pasta and pizza at the restaurant is unmatched. I feel like everywhere I go I am comparing the pasta to DeLuca's penne with marinara sauce. 5/5 for food and community feel, and prices are reasonable too :
We used De Luca? Food for our catering. Morgan and her team did a fantastic job to serve our food for our baby shower. The food was fantastic. We and our guest were very satisfied. I recommend De Luca?s food for special catering events.
The entire ordering process was so easy and they could pick up our catering order with just a few days. The portions were large and everything was absolutely delicious. It was by far the highlight of our Holiday Party!
