The team at Dear Franks was fantastic. We were visiting from out of state, and it was our first experience at this restaurant. The customer service was top-notch; they were very patient with us while we struggled to decide what to order. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We each chose different dishes, and everything was delicious. It was our first time trying a Chicago dog, and it certainly lived up to the hype—the snap on my chargrilled dog was amazing! They also offer ice cream and milkshakes, and the Oreo milkshake was incredible! We’ll definitely return on our next visit!
I ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich and fries. Both were very fresh and hot. Just one bite into the sandwich and I felt a nice crunch of the veggies and the chicken. Highly affordable and amazing quality. The owner is very kind and came over to my table to talk to me. As I am new in deerfield , that friendly approach meant a lot to me. Would recommend as a regular breakfast snack dinner joint for everyone.
This is the best hotdog stand in the chicago area. These are the nicest people who have owed the establishment for over 20 years. The cheese fries are the best, they have their own cheese. It’s an even better merks if that’s possible
I grew up enjoying hot dogs and traveling around the country with bands, eating a lot of fast food. Very Franks is one of the best fast food places I've come across, offering the finest burgers and cheddar fries around—no contest!

This is the best hot dog joint in the area. Unlike those places in Highland Park, it hasn't lost its authentic vibe. They serve nothing but classic hot dogs, twice-fried French fries, and gyros.
