Seems like most of the low ratings have to do with bar service, which I can't tell you about. Have had drinks at the table many times and always been good. Drinks aside, we love this place for food and atmosphere!! Can't get enough of the light and crispy tortilla chips with a thick, slightly sweet salsa that has a mild but present heat. I am addicted to the fish tacos, which are some of the most flavorful I've had anywhere. They are a great mix of sweet and savory with grilled (not fried) fish; get em on soft tortillas. We often have them with a side of sweet plantains and a margarita. I'll leave the bar reviews to the others.
It was a Margarita night on Friday 8 July 2022. The Margaritas were great and the food was good. I especially like the appetizers. Kenny served us and was a super entertaining young man. I feel as though I am low maintenance but I enjoy a server who can juggle the table service with fun conversation. Kenny was up to the task. I liked Kenny so much I had to give him a hug before we moseyed on out for more adventure. Thank you Kenny and keep up the good work south of the boarder.
Tonight I put through a pick up order for dinner. It said it eould be ready in 15 minutes, but it was ready in 5. I love Del Fuego. I eat here once or twice a week and everything is always delicious and the service is always great. Plus, as a loyalty member, I get tons of free food rewards (money off my bill. Very nice casual atmosphere. Service was friendly and very efficient. We had the Tuesday Taco special- tacos were tasty and an excellent value would love to see a higher priced special with the usually more expensive tacos).
