Whenever visiting Delamere Forest the Station House is our go-to place to eat. This weekend it was the Veggie Breakfast. Now £8 may sound a couple of quid more than many cafés charge (and drinks are extra), but you need to remember this is a big plate breakfast. It comes with toast OR fried bread AND bread butter, 2 eggs, 2 veggie sausages, 2 hash browns, half a grilled tomato, beans mushrooms. One thing is for sure: This is going to set you up for the day and you 'll not be wanting any lunch. I visited the restaurant yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The toast was delicious, and the teapot was beautifully designed. Both the outdoor and indoor seating areas were very pleasant, and the staff was incredibly friendly and prompt, especially considering how busy they were at the time. The restrooms were also very clean! Additionally, it's only a two-minute drive to the Delamere Forest visitor center, making it a perfect stop before or after a long walk.
It seems that this place may have new management, as I’ve noticed all the low-star reviews have been posted. I visited twice, and both experiences were delightful. It's a favorite spot for cyclists and dog walkers, and it’s very family-friendly, offering a wide variety of breakfast items, cakes, and meals. The location is lovely, with plenty of space available, making it an excellent value for winter. Honestly, it’s hard to go wrong here!
Visited this weekend with family while camping next door,ice cream was delicious however it bit bizarre after a long walk in Delamere forest we decided to visit and take in a nice cold beer too that they were selling....the cafe wouldn't open it for me and couldn't give me anything to open it with?? Not too sure how I was supposed to drink it,I was told it was due to licensing laws so the question why were they allowed to sell it to me

the caffe, the personal and the eating were great. my man, my daughter, my grandchildren and I had a nice day to foot, ride, eat and play. the personal in the bike store was also great, especially the type that was so good with our grand, while his punctuality was repaired by another helpful worker. we'll be back soon!
Found the Station House very accomadating as our walking group were able to use their car park while we did our usual 2 hour walk before returning for lunch having reserved a table. Food and drinks were very reasonable priced and the service was first rate. Would recommend.
Lovely café right at the station, serving beverages, snacks and cakes. Took a while before they came to take our order, but the protein pancakes and scone were fabulous when they arrived. Clearly very dog friendly.
The best food and service in Cheshire and an added bonus value for money. Friendly staff and clean tables, cutlery etc what more could you ask for. Excellent.

Excellent! I visit regularly and highly recommend it. The food is fresh, and you can enjoy dining both indoors and outdoors. The staff is wonderful!
