interesting to note some previous reviews here. too much fish on the menu for example. wow, we are really in the world of pampering. first it is expensive. but when they come to such a place, they know that it... will increase current market forces cost everywhere and eat more of a luxury for most of us. we were here for a 65. So we can come here every week? Our first visit to Great Budworth. It was a lovely sunny day, we were lucky enough to get a seat outside. I had the tuna sandwich on white bloomer bread, which came with salad and some pasta a side of chips. My friend had...the hot roast beef baguette my dad had the fish chips. All three meals were beautifully cooked prepared fresh. We then had two desserts. The chocolate fudge cake with custard the crème brûlée. There isn’t one thing to fault with any of the food. The staff were also very friendly helpful, even giving us information about the village. Dogs are also welcome in the bar area. We will be back to visit again soon.
my man I visited last week. the prices are dry. £12,95 for a grilled cocktail star! we went with the garlic mushrooms, but they were lukewarm. also paid about £8.95 for this! my man had the filet-steak-stroganoff, but the meat. was very hard and chewy and obviously not filet. and the next day he felt rough and sick all day. it was nice to visit earlier, but I think we will miss it from now on. I think there are more beautiful restaurants with better food and more reasonable trips than here and when will they repair this terrible, loud front door? it's a pity if good places go downhill and unfortunately this happened here.

Lovely pub. Reasonably priced. Very friendly and a good atmosphere. It was a busy Friday night. Food was good but not great. Service was similar. We had a nice time. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
that was our first visit and I'm sure we'll come back. beautiful location in the center of great budworth. eating and service were both excellent. I would love her recipe for bark meat stroganoff?!
