It really bums me out that this place has fallen so far, so quickly. I used to recommend it to people all of the time. Now that they have moved, I can't believe the difference in freshness. I got a CA burrito. It was always my go to, and the asada was so dry, and it was not even close to the same quality that it used to be. I don't think I'll ever give it a second chance. That's how bad the burrito was. I couldn't even finish it. I left half in the fridge and never went back to it and had to throw it out. Also, I'm so tired of places giving salsa and sauces with the container a quarter full. Not only is it frustrating, but it is so wasteful. Fill up your containers, and that goes to so many...
I visited this restaurant twice. During my first visit, the birria tacos were very good and full of flavor. We also tried the asada tacos, which were quite tasty as well. However, the downside to this place is the wait time. I understand that fresh food takes time, but there's a reasonable limit to how long customers should have to wait. On my second visit today, unfortunately, the birria meat and consomé tasted flat, as if they were made with tap water—very little flavor. There's definitely potential here, but they need to maintain consistent flavors and avoid that water-like taste. It really stands out in the food.
Is there new owners or cooks? One less star because they've changed their ingredients in the Beef Bulgogi Burrito. No fried rice in there now and I'm informed that it's just Mexican rice. The Beef didn't have a bulgogi flavor either.Big difference in flavor and was very salty. Sadly, it was one of my go-to menu items making this place a regular visit for me. Other than that, they still have that killer sauce. Korean Chicken Tacos and Quesadilla still tasted good (especially with that sauce.... Hope they don't change that). Unfortunately this place is down the visit list for me now.
Not bad at all! Came here with my sister to just catch up. We got the bulgogi tacos, bulgogi fries, and some wings. Best thing we got were the tacos...hands down. Surprisingly SUPER delicious. It was also the last thing we ate, so we weren't expecting much at all. The wings were second best. Super crispy and delicious. Was very disappointed in the fries. Super salty and nothing to really talk about...although to be fair, they somehow tasted better a few hours later when I got home LOL. This isn’t Asian fusion; it feels more like a confusion. The bibimbap is severely underseasoned, and the rice and egg on top were as cold as the pickled veggies. The tonkatsu chicken had a rubbery texture, almost like my flip-flops—perhaps it was overcooked in the microwave. I'm giving 5 stars for the bulgogi fries, although I still think they’re overpriced. I ordered two Thai teas, one with boba and one without, and they were priced the same (was this a mistake?). Almost $8 for a small cup feels excessive, so I’m deducting 2 stars for that.
I ordered online through Google pickup, which is handled by DoorDash. I was charged and received confirmation of my order, but when I arrived, the staff said they hadn’t received it, despite the fact that I was already charged. I showed them the charge, but they simply told me to dispute it and offered no solutions. I appreciate the wasted time. I’ll dispute the charge once it's finalized. What a frustrating experience.
The food here is not as good as it used to be at my favorite spot. I requested three salsas, but they only filled a quarter of the container. It wasn't even enough to spread on my tacos. I'm really disappointed. I used to recommend this place as the best Mexican food in Rancho, but unfortunately, that's no longer the case.
For Delicioso Eats: I tried the quesataco birria and the quesataco carne asada, and wow... they were absolutely delicious! This place is truly the best in the Inland Empire. This place serves the best quesabirria and asada tacos you can find! You'll definitely be pleased with your choice. I can't wait to try their chilaquiles and burritos next! I would have shared a picture, but as soon as the food arrived at our table, it was instantly devoured!
