I ordered delivery from Delivery Sushi for the first time today and after my experience I'll be ordering from them a lot more. Delivery is free on orders over 20$, which is a great bonus. Initially, when they called to confirm my online order and asked if an hour wait was ok I was skeptical but the sushi was well worth it and the wait was only 45 minutes! I ordered the 16 piece spicy combo, 8 piece spicy tuna roll, and yakitori which came to just under 26$ delivery was free. This is a really nice little sushi shop, you walk into a small restaurant and feel welcome right away. They start you with green tea a very nice touch, then a miso soup. It is one of the best miso soups we have had. We placed our order and didn't have to wait very long for our sushi came out. Everything was very well made and fresh. The tempura veggies were excellent and not greasy at all. The sauce to dip them in is a nice touch. Good prices for what you get.Friendly staff who welcome you with a smile. We would eat here again, it was a really nice experience.
I ate here with my wife on a whim and a craving. We liked that it was close to home, but didn't know what else to expect.Upon arriving, we each got a large mug of tea and a good Miso Soup after ordering...these were free! Then, our very good Mixed Tempura $(11) and decent Vegetarian Gyoza $(8) were served. Finally, we had an excellent Vegetarian Combo with 14 pieces $(11).The service was ok and the atmosphere was quaint, but these didn't take away from our experience one bit. We will be back for more!
We have ordered from there at my work and was always excellent and fresh. Happened to go there for lunch one day and we were well received with complementary iced green tea and soup! Staff is very helpful and friendly. Everything was very tasty. The pieces were a nice size as well. Other places have the pieces too big for my taste sometimes. Have been back a few times. We ordered $100 worth of sushi: Maki, nigiri and sashimi. Was quoted an hour over the phone as expected but we received our order within 45 min.Very beautiful presentation on 2 trays and it was very fresh. The quantity of soya sauce, ginger, and wasabi was definitely sufficient and also nicely presented. Would definitely order again and I'm so glad they are in Hunt Club!
One of the best sushi in Ottawa and I know my sushi - grew up in BC, my preferred meal choice. Totally worth the drive if u don't qualify for the delivery (distance or time limit.) And u definitely get the quality for the price as it's not expensive at all in my mind for what u get. Highly recommend!
