We were out for a walk near our hotel and stopped in here for breakfast. Impressed how immaculately clean the restaurant was. Classic diner seating at the counter or in booths. Lots of choices for breakfast. He had a fruit cup and French toast with a side of beef sausage and I had banana/nut buttermilk pancakes with fresh blueberries on top. So much food we couldn’t finish it all. There’s a cabinet at the front door with muffins, cookies, fruit cups, puddings, cookies and more and they seem to have a great takeout business. Great service, good prices. We left very full and very satisfied.
The food here is good. The sausage and waffles, and French toast are the best. The price is reasonable and the environment is nice with plenty of seating. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a table in the back where we sat that needed to be tightened as it kept rocking from the post in the middle, causing coffee to spill out our cups. The manager was helpful with directions to get on the path train to the world trade center. All in all, I would recommend this diner if your within walking distance and looking for a good breakfast, salad or meal to fulfill your appetite.
This gem is hiding. I almost didn't want to share, so that I could keep it for myself. Quality, quantity environment, it's all there; a classic feel, a casual comfort, and all in the heart of Newark. With a capacity of only approximately 30 (booths fixed spinning stools, you might want to plan ahead, however, I did luck out on that one.I had a big breakfast that provided leftovers at the right price. And it's at the bottom tip of Military Park, a great place to enjoy take-out.
What a great and convenient place to have lunch or breakfast. I truly enjoy the sandwiches and soups. My favorite is beef barley on Tuesdays. Chicken noodle fills the bill any day with different pastas to satisfy your palate. Friendly service and just a great place to eat. Come and enjoy your meal, it will truly be worth it.!!!

Came here after landing in Newark Airport. I see why they have such a high rating. Everything was great from the prices to the customer service. Our waitress Maria was wonderful. 10/10 would recommend and will be visiting again on flights to Newark.

Went here because Tops had a long wait and boy was I pleasantly surprised! Absolutely delicious and incredibly satisfying. My friends got two of the chicken wraps and I got the chicken parm sub. Hit the spot.It is also very affordable

The food wasn't great but cooked clean. Not filling. Charged for bacon and didn't get any on my omelet sandwich and my crossant egg and cheese was very flat and sad.
