As a family of four we don't get to treat ourselves out for meals very often. Today we had a great day planned in Kelowna with our two girls. To start the day off we decided to go to Dennys in Kelowna and treat everyone to breakfast:)) At first our Server seemed nice, took our drink order and brought them right away. After 25 minutes we were noticing other people being seated after we had arrived and they were all getting their meals before us!? I finally asked our Server to check on our order as it had been over 25 minutes since we placed it, she didn't seem to care, and said she would see how long it would be. Moments later our food magically appeared, served to us by the manager on duty??...
Ate here twice, once in the early afternoon and once late in the evening. The food was good both times. The food came very quickly the first time as the restaurant was not very full. The food was good. On the receipt if you fill out a 5 minute survey you get 2 free pancakes with a drink purchase. So on the second visit I got the free pancakes. Great deal. Also tried the cake batter milkshake. So thick and filling.
So this place is convenient for those (like us) staying at the Sandman Inn.Denny's is a chain, so the menu is standard - but it does seem to heavily feature meat - and as a vegetarian, I felt a bit restricted in choice!Husband wasn't wildly impressed with the service, although he did chuckle when we were offered honey for my tea!
Had breakfast there on the way to Kelowna Airport. A nice place for breakfast with quite a number of options. The lady who was at the counter doesn't seemed very welcoming but the lady who served us was friendly & forthcoming. Didn't like the quality of the food but was reasonably priced. Haven't eaten at Denny's for 2.5 years but it still offers basic food for a great price. Steak or salmon and veggies, you can't go wrong. Helpful server called Danya. The food was hot and plentiful.
Had brunch on Father's Day, so was very busy. Staff was very good and even with a big line up we only had to wait 15 mins. Food came quick and was good, staff was good as well.
We always visit Dennys when we are in the States so decided to see if the Canadian one was as good. As always the food was good and all in all we would go back here.
Banana Cream Pancakes had very very very few bananas. The ratio was so low that i could not calculate it! On the bright side, the milkshake was outstanding! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A great addition to the Sandman Hotel. Convenient for breakfast. Food is fast and plenty to choose from.
