We kept the menu simple: paya, daal mash, and naan, since we had already eaten earlier in the evening. The food was tasty—especially the paya, which was full of flavor. But the cleanliness was disappointing. The place was crowded, hot, and felt suffocating. The restroom was for customers only, but even then, it wasn’t clean—which really shouldn’t be the case. The management should reconsider their customer service approach. The seating area is too cramped and needs to be scaled back. The food is not fresh and has an unpleasant smell. It’s essential for the management to provide sufficient space between tables to ensure guests' comfort. Additionally, the staff should wear gloves and hairnets, as they appear to be ignoring local health guidelines. Maintaining high standards of service is vital.
Not good Street food without the street. Service was good. The food was definitely not restaurant quality. The atmosphere was a mixed bag of nuts. The people seemed friendly and minding their own business but the setup as far as wet tables and small plastic cups for tap water. Not to mention having to fight off the flies. I bought 16 pieces rusmalai and when i open at home its spoiled like they used some glue material to made the rusmalai and when i try to mix it it doesnt mix it was totally sticky i didnt understand what happened to there rusmalai quality they used to sell best quality rusmalai, i always go there to buy rusmalai all the way from bronx ny Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The atmosphere was very noisy and crowded, with cramped seating that offered no privacy. They charge extra for credit card payments, and even when paying cash, an automatic service fee is added. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. This was my first visit, but definitely my last. Thank you.
Dera is a spacious restaurant in Jackson Heights with prompt service. I ordered beef paya, regular paratha, tandoori paratha, and beef shami kabab. The meal included salad and raita sauce. Portion sizes were generous for the price, and the food tasted great.
We tried the haleem and goat feet (pai), and both were absolutely delicious! The restaurant offers an excellent variety of main courses and desserts. The chai was wonderful as well.
