For the last two years we have disembarked with our bikes at Roscoff and immediately cycled as fast as possible down the road to St Pol de Leon to what can only be described as our favourite coffee shop in Brittany Des le Matin. Located on the town square, Des le Matin provides the most glorious cakes, pastries and coffee as well as lovely lunches. We have enjoyed everything from the not so humble croissant to the enormous, delicious, freshly prepared salads and we always make a beeline for this cafe as soon as we get anywhere near St Pol, whether this is on the way from or back to the ferry at Roscoff. Don't hang around in Roscoff it is frankly a bit dismal and everywhere is usually closed...

Stopped for a snack at lunch along with the locals - obviously popular. We just had coffees ,quiches and croques but they were great. Patisseries looked nice as did some of the big salads the locals were having. Waitress efficient and friendly. Typically french and typically very nice.

Des Le Matin is opposite the cathedral in Saint-Pol-de-Leon. It's a nice place to stop for a coffee and a cake after touring the town. We found the service to be particularly friendly and helpful and enjoyed the croque monsieur and tarts that we had with our coffee.
Friendly, welcoming little café just across the way from the cathedral. A very welcome place to repair to on a pouring wet morning. Good coffee, chocolate, soft drinks, nice atmosphere. Sitting outside would have been relaxing in sunny weather perhaps next time?
A bakery, sandwichery. but also a friendly living room a beautiful terrace facing the cathedral of st pol de léon. breakfast, coffee or a gourmet break. guillaume, the patissier is the most sympathetic and to the right tone (not too much, nor too little.)
Opposite the Cathedral in a square. Easy free 30 mins parking right outside. Had pain au chocolate with tea and coffee quickly served and good quality. Opens at 7.30, clean proper toilets,highly recommended, pleasant local cafe.

Excellent value breakfast sitting outside across from the cathedral. All provided by a very friendly lady. We were made to feel very welcome.
Always good fresh tea and baguette sandwiches. Free WiFi and happy staff. What more could you ask. We will be back.
