We were staying at Organ Pipe campsite and I forgot to pack coffee, so we headed into town and accidentally discovered the Saturday market. There weren't many farmers selling their produce—just one—but several local artists were showcasing their handmade goods. I enjoyed a delightful cup of coffee from one of the vendors. We decided to grab a bite and have some coffee and tea at a nearby café, and everything was fresh and delicious. The coffee took a little while to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait.
My wife and I stopped here for lunch during our trip to Ajo, and we thoroughly enjoyed our Bacon Burger and fries. The food was very tasty, with excellent rolls and a fresh salad with tomatoes on the side. The service was friendly, and we loved the outdoor seating that offered a view of the art gallery. The bacon was the real deal! We ordered and picked up our food at the window, and due to ongoing concerns about COVID, the friendly lady who served us was wearing a mask.
What a delightful spot to pause for a cup of coffee, some good food, and a bit of shopping! They offer a variety of charming handmade items for sale. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the coffee is both delicious and served piping hot. Even though there was a bit of a wait, it’s definitely a must-visit when crossing AJO.
Wonderful fresh salads with locally sourced ingredients. Our salads even had cholla flower buds. Delicious! Not to mention the prickley pear coated chicken breast sandwich with crunchy onions, veggies, a pickle, and the sauce had a slight bite. Perfect sandwich. Well worth every penny. They cook for you with their heart. The coffee is really well done and exceeds expectations. if you are early enough you may hear the chef sing as she builds your breakfast. The flavor is great and the salsa is fantastic. Makes for a sweet start to your day.
Great place for breakfast or lunch. We had a tortta, breakfast bowl and pancakes. Coffee was also great. They saw that they had recently opened, but the room was really nice.
Got take out. The burgers are excellent. Great place to eat.
