Lunch. First timers from Gold Coast, Queensland. Had read about Devon and for some reason it became our destination. We were not disappointed. My daughter had the Omurice with prawns. I had the Saffron Angel Hair Pasta with baby clams, crab and chilli. It was...to die for. Delicious, value for money and great service. Couldn’t fault it. I wish the restaurant was closer to us. It isn’t often that such a comfortable, non pretentious eatery delivers excellence. Highly recommend Devon.
Located at Barangaroo, this is a popular eatery with the office crowd. They have good value lunch specials. Their range of Sandos has a good variety of options that are a bit more exciting than a standard sandwich. We had the salmon katsu and the...KJI fried chicken, both of which were very nice. They have table service and the venue is nicely decked out. They don't split bills, which is a bit annoying.

Tried both the cold drip and iced manual coffee. Different appeal and both has own special character. nice eating, but it is very expensive for what they get (the crab probably has 20g crab) and the service received on the last Sunday was very cut. grumpy waitresses almost roll their eyes when we were asked to order. pretty sure they can find better elsewhere. do not recommend.

ordered a poke bowl and I wonder if it should be called salat bowl instead of with the amount of salmon sashimi can be counted less than 10finger, especially if it is the only protein base for $16! not order again and would not recommend it!
the quality of eating here is above their normal cafe fare. I was surprised. service good. location excellent. not an advertiser! but the mushroom toastia was great....will come back
