As someone who grew up in NYC, I can confidently say that Dewey's in Cleveland offers some of the top 5 pizzas in the city. While Cleveland people may prefer a pizza that resembles Dominos with provolone cheese (I'm still curious about that choice!), Dewey's stands out as a true New York style pizza with delicious flavors. The selection of unique toppings and specialty pies at Dewey's is truly impressive and underrated.
I really like their pizza, and I don't even eat pizza in general. I absolutely love their salads and many other items we've tried. They are also supportive of my nonprofit organization and have donated pizzas for my students when we recently made a request. So thank you Dewey's and keep up the delicious pizzas and salads. Dewey's is always a great choice! The pizza is consistently excellent, and the salads are large enough to share and always fresh. We love watching them prepare the pizzas as well. We had a fantastic time dining at Dewey's in Lakewood. We appreciated the option to split any of their specialty pizzas down the middle (50/50). We chose half "white" pizza and half with the classic red sauce. While both sides were tasty, we preferred the red sauce side. The crust was particularly delicious.
Disappointed : our pizza had barely any cheese, where’s the cheese! was under cooked and dry and it’s seems like they just threw toppings on the top after it was made so when you picked it up everything fell off of the limp slice of pizza.
