I heard great things and figured since I lived in the neighborhood, I’d give it a try. When I was waiting in line to order, I smelled spoiled ice cream. It’s the smell when you leave ice cream out at room temperature for a few hours. Huge red flag and should have left right there. The ice cream I ordered was already starting to melt when I got it. Meaning it wasn’t even frozen I couldn’t finish it because it was gross. Never coming back to this place. Save your money and support a local establishment like Little Man or Bonnie Brae instead! This place never misses. We’ve tried so many of the flavors and have loved each one. Our favorite is the salted caramel Oreo, peanut butter cup and the double chocolate fudge! Been going to Magill’s since I was a wee one and it’s still a favorite. The line can get quite long but the team behind counter really hustle to make things move quickly and efficiently. Great flavor options. Fun games puzzles to play while you enjoy your sweet treat. They have really good dairy free options, too.
What a place! Amazing ice cream with a variety of flavors. They even have board games for families or kids to use while there. If you’re in the area, this is a MUST stop.
