In a city where restaurants with a rating below F and C are hard to find (with the exception of Red Lobster), Digby's stands out as a hidden gem. The quality of the haddock and fries we ordered was excellent - freshly prepared, crispy, and not greasy. The side of coleslaw was standard. Our server was friendly and prompt. The lemon pie tasted homemade, as if it was made on the premises. Despite living in southeastern Ottawa, we will definitely be returning to Digby's. The prices were fair for the portion sizes, making it a good value for money.
Ordered takeout ahead of time for me and my wife. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the place was empty with at least a dozen empty tables. After asking to dine in instead since we have a baby with us, I received a rude no in Arabic. I asked what the issue was as there are dozens of tables, answer: that 's our policy, takeout is takeout . I can tell you the customer service and rudeness was terrible, and the policy sucks because we won 't be back again. Food was just ok.

Small side of coleslaw typical. Server was friendly and timely. Lemon pie had to be made there as the crust was like home made. We live in south east Ottawa, but we'll return. Good value for money. Prices in line with quantity provided.
Amazing food and nice staff. I love our experience there. The pair next to our table liked the fish and chip so much they ordered additional fish and ended with 16 pieces of fish! Tip: ask the staff, what kind of fish is the best for fish and chips that they recommend, based on how fishy (smell and taste) you want it to be. The food is also Halal.
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. They have awesome fish and chips, and more! It's been four months since my last review, and this time we tried their fried chicken family meal. It was unbelievably crispy and delicious. Plus, it was halal! You can park right in front of the restaurant.
Really great restaurant for some classic fish n chips. Their ayce fish n chips is also great with an amazing price to boot. Went home completely filled just for under $20.Dietary restrictions: Halal
We tried Wings, Calamari Salmon wrap. Foods was great. Staffs are friendly and service were good. Thank You for FD balloon, kids like it. Must go place for Fish and Chips.
