I came with a friend for a weekday lunch. The place was not really crowded and we got a seat right away. Our server was excellent. She was friendly, helpful, and allowed us to take our time ordering. I am told that Dillon's Local is known for their sandwiches, so I tried the Reuben and it was one of the best I have ever had. It was on marbled rye and had a red cabbage coleslaw. My friend had the Greek salad, which looked very nice two. The menu is not huge, but there is a nice variety of options. Another plus is that they are in the center of Plymouth and they have their own parking lot. This is very convenient. Parking: There is free parking, but not a huge number of spots.
We stopped in Dillons for lunch on our way to Cambridge. The hosts were very friendly and the wait staff were terrific. When I asked about food allergy issues, they were kind and helpful to ensure I didn’t get anything I’m not supposed to. My husband had the Kale soup and ate the delicious sour dough bread from my meal with it. I had the special with corn beef hash and fried eggs with hash browns. Everything was delicious and we didn’t have to wait too long for our order to come out. Dietary restrictions: Waitress was great about ensuring my soy sensitivity was made aware to the cook, who ensured that I didn’t get any soy in my dish.
We wanted to try something that was maybe more local friendly than tourist focused and this turned out to be a great place. Just a few blocks away from the main road, it is good sized and we scored a booth for a late lunch. Our server was friendly and walked us through the bubbly drink options. I had the Wasted Sunday minus the Red Bull and my husband had a drink that we can’t recall the name of. Both were so good we had two. I had the Cape Cod Reuben which is kind of like a grilled tuna sandwich but better. My husband had the Cuban and ate every bite. We would go back.
We wanted to go here for a while now and finally managed to do so. The menu has an interesting mix of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. We had the 'Shepherd’s Pie Croquettes ', 'Littlenecks Mozambique ', 'Cajun Chicken Pasta ', and the 'Chicken Piccata '. The service was very friendly, and everything came out in a decent time. It had been a while since I had scallops, and most restaurants were unable to provide them. However, Dillions Local did not disappoint! The scallops were huge, perfectly fresh, and the bacon was beautifully crispy. I also tried the Portuguese kale soup, which was delicious and filling. My mom enjoyed a Reuben sandwich, which she said was also delicious. The service was fantastic, and we will definitely be returning.
I had one of the best chicken sandwiches at this restaurant. They also offer locally caught cod on the menu. The house vinaigrette and salad were excellent as well. The service was exceptional for my small group of 3, and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. This is a top-notch spot for lunch after whale watching.
A great little Irish pub right by the waterfront. The waitstaff are very pleasant and the place is clean which is a huge plus! They serve great martinis and the food is cooked fresh. Try the bourbon marinated tips and clam chowder while drinking some hard cider

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. I would definitely return if I am ever in the area again.
