My family and I recently moved to Frankford, and after a tiring day of unpacking, we decided to try out Dimitri’s Restaurant. We didn't have high expectations for a small town eatery, but we were completely blown away by the amazing food and exceptional service from our server, Jessica. I ordered my usual Hamburger, which was only $10 and surprisingly came with fries - no need to add on extra! The burger and fries were cooked to perfection, just the way I like it. My wife opted for the Chicken Souvlaki, which she raved about and couldn't even finish the generous portion. The wine was also served at the perfect temperature. We waited over an hour before finally inquiring with our waiter on the status of our order. He said he would check and did not return to give us any update. When the food finally arrived the wings that we had requested be prepared with the sauce on the side came swimming in hot sauce. When we pointed this out to the waiter we were met with a blank stare. They were inedible. The souvlaki, rice and potatoes were tasteless with no seasoning what so ever. One waitress hollered from behind the bar to a table across the room holding a conversation with no regard to other patrons. We were by no means expecting fine dining having eaten lunch here before, but tonight’s experience was nothing short of...
We are new to the area and placed a large order at Dimitri's for delivery. We had the meat lovers pizza, Philly steak sandwich, Dimitri burger, loads of wings and haddock (perhaps a bit overdone) with chips. Maybe we were really hungry but EVERYTHING was good. Quality and quantities were very good and the food arrived hot and fresh. Our interaction on the phone with staff while ordering was also very pleasant. We were surprised that our first takeout order in the area was such an overwhelming success and will certainly be ordering from Dimitri's again in the future.
Just moved into the area in June and spotted this cool little restaurant with a huge patio. That alone drew me in, and since I've come to the area I've visited about 6 times in a month with family and friends. The staff is amazing always making sure everything is perfect, and they have a great attitude even in the scorching heat wearing masks. The food is plentiful and always tasty. The pizzas on moving day were also a big hit, thank you!
Upon entering the restaurant, we immediately felt at ease and were greeted by the fantastic smell of pizza. Our server, Amanda, was very friendly and we enjoyed her company throughout our meal. The food was excellent, especially the pizza and souvlaki dinner. Although we weren't big fans of the french fries, the overall quality of the food at this establishment more than made up for it. We will definitely be returning in the future.
This restaurant has the worst food I have ever tasted. The quality significantly declined after the pandemic, with dishes seemingly made from frozen ingredients. The service is also lackluster at best. My family and friends have decided to never return. While I anticipate the owner might apologize and offer a free meal, I am not interested in experiencing more of the same disappointment.
Saturday night and full but no line up. My wife and I went 6:30 and just waited to be seated while a table cleaned. Shared a large combo. Huge! Great pizza, hats off to kitchen. Ryan you did a great job for only first week. Only issue was one women server thought her mask worked better on her arm. She never had it on greeting or serving. We will be back.
Great service e and fun time. Jessica was our server, greater. Outstanding servi r and alot of fun amd teasing. Boys came in from camp for dinner. Excellent pizza. A bottom fell out of a mug and Jessica could not apologize enough. Moved tables. All the games playing. Thanks for the special dear head you made from pepperoni. Nice touch
Honestly, the worst panzerotti I’ve ever had. Luckily I have good teeth, the outside was hard as a rock, and the inside has at least an inch between the outside and the filling. Seriously, it just sucked!!!!
