We are new to town and had heard that people from all around the area came here for take out because it was the best Chinese food around. Oh dear, if this is the best, where do we go for Chinese food from here? Rather than order one of the meal combos we ordered dishes we particularly like. The best of them was the chicken balls. The lemon chicken was pretty average. The fried shrimp were overdone. The couple of dishes we had with meat veggies were mostly onions. Hey, onions are cheap. $11-12 for a dish of onions is way overpriced. They did throw in a small container of very bland plain rice which we had not ordered. Although the food portion is large The chicken was like trying to chew leather in the chow meain and lo meinVegetables were fresh however rice seemed as if it had been reheated from days ago. Spring rols were mini frozen ones that I buy at grocery Very disappointed would of rather had smaller portion of fresh food to leave me wanting more and a desire to return. Instead we were found with all this left over food that will end up in compost. What was that chicken? Sorry to say I am not sure where the 4.5 rating came from. Perhaps it was from a glory of the restaurant past glow.
We visit this family owned local restaurant at least a couple times a month not only to get great Chinese and Thai food, but also to help them through this difficult time with Covid. Due to the restrictions, they are only offering take-out meals. The prices are very reasonable and although the menu is somewhat limited, everything is freshly made and very good. I would highly recommend the Thai BBQ Pork Supreme as well as the Veggie Spring Rolls. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Out and about with two young grandchildren on a PD day and they were both getting “hangrey” and happened upon this restaurant in Frankfort. Not being from the area we were a little apprehensive as the outside was looking tired and the interior was anything but opulent. BUT the Food was excellent and freshly made, owner friendly and engaging and we all had a wonderful experience. Try it if you are in the locale …. You will not be disappointed.
My wife and I have eaten there twice now and enjoyed both visits. The first time we were about to order way too much food and the owner Danny made some suggestions to help us as it is menu order only. We wanted some to take home and even after taking Danny's suggestion, we took food home. Lots of food and the price is good as well. We will be returning again soon. Some dishes could have more meat for my liking but i have never left hungry.
We searched on Trip Advisor for restaurant recommendations in the area. We decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and we had a great chat with the very friendly owner. From the outside, it looks like nothing much, but the food is top notch. They do a lot of takeout but we enjoyed eating in. Highly recommend.
we have eaten here many times. And everytime it's the same thing. Excellent!! We have never had a bad or off meal here. The owners are friendly. The food is always hot and fresh. That's why we keep going back. Having said this, I should add the service is slow, but it's worth the wait. A great place to eat.
Good value and food quality very good. Seems like service is quick when you call ahead for pickup, rarely have to wait long. Dining room is a good size and not crowded. Service is friendly. Parking is limited.
Very poor quality food…some of it inedible. Very disappointed It came recommended but chicken was poor quality ,,,chewy and grisly , noodles were swimming in soy sauce , won ton sauce was bitter
