so good and so cheap! dixon is a place where my chef showed me one day and explains that it is one of those places of huddersfield that everyone loves and visits. he wasn't wrong! the traditional ice cone are the best, the portions were plentiful and tasty. I've been there a few times. the team is nice and friendly
Always a huge queue and for what it is and the price it's not worth queueing but if you go past and there's no queue then go for it! The ice cream is nice and the sauce as it's different but I don't think it's any better than your regular 99.
The queue that runs outside the door and round the corner is a good clue. The absence of complex and implausible flavours is another. And the prices are the third. It is just very very tasty. That is all
I was served by Saima. Service with a smile and super friendly. The ice cream is out of this world. Always like coming here as the ice cream quality is consistent too. Never disappoints
Went for the first time today with my partner who used to live in Huddersfield and get Dixon's regularly. The milky ice cream in a waffle cone was 10 out of 10! Covid secure shop too!
If you want the best ice cream in Yorkshire visit Dixons Lockwood or Leeds rd. Easy access to both places up a side street or behind the shop for parking.
