I work all around the UK and have had many a curry while on my travels. This restaurant is by far the best I have visited. I had a paneer chilli, this was a sweet and sour cheese dish with mixed peppers. Panner cheese was perfectly cooked and absolutly lovely. For the main I had bhuteko masu which is a lamb dish cooked Napealese village style, the sauce was thick and very flavoursome and the generous portions of meat were so soft that I only used my fork for the whole meal. Some may think that the meat pieces were small, on the contrary they needed splitting with my fork. Garlic fried rice and a peshawari naan were also cooked to perfection. I recently tried this restaurant for the first time and was so impressed that I had to go back to see if it was really as good as I remembered. After my second visit tonight, I can confirm that it truly is that good. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is exceptional, the staff are friendly, and the Asian food is some of the best I have ever had. I have a feeling I'll be coming back for a third visit very soon.
Have been eating here since it opened but recently it has gone downhill on more than one occasion. The service is bad, orders wrong, mains coming out before starters. Portions and quality is not as good recently. Owners are lovely but will not take criticism or offer apologies on the night. Really disappointed as has been our favourite restaurant locally.
The dinner was absolutely incredible. This restaurant is run by the most amazing staff I have ever encountered. We had the best meal we have had in all the years I have been eating out. Organised a karaoke evening at Diya Royal on the 31 Dec New Year's Eve. The food was delicious and very good service. Friendly staff. The owner of the restaurant very accommodating and good natured. Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you Mr Neeran.
Well worth a try if you have not been before. Service is exceptional and food is fantastic. We are going back again and again as the food is seriously addictive and make sure you try the naan bread its the best I have ever had. The Gracey Family
This is my preferred restaurant in the area. We brought my fiancé's grandmother here for her birthday, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is Bedford's top spot!
