Delicious gelato try the cinnamon based Biscoff flavor! Whenever I saw the Dolci Gelati truck around Metro Center in DC, I always stopped by and grabbed a cup of gelato during my lunch break! So glad there's a storefront in Takoma Park conveniently located right next to Roscoe's Pizza, perfect for dessert! Out of a dozen or so flavors, I'm glad I picked the cinnamon Biscoff flavor. The gelato was tasty, but it wasn't stored at a low enough temperature, causing it to melt before we even got it into the cone. To make matters worse, the server handed my wife a single scoop, which was already sliding off the cone, without any thought for her since she was holding our infant in one arm. We had to ask for a bowl while awkwardly balancing the cone sideways to prevent it from spilling all over the counter. As a result, we ended up trying to enjoy our gooey gelato from small paper cups, making a mess everywhere, and there were no spoons provided—just little wooden paddles.
This place is a delightful spot for a refreshing cold treat on a hot day. My husband opted for the lemon and blood orange flavors, and he truly enjoyed them. I had the mint chocolate chip, which was also delicious. I wish there were more flavor options available and additional seating so we could have enjoyed our desserts right away.
So delicious on a hot Saturday I saw so many people eating gelato. I ask and was directed to a small store to the right of roscoes pizza. You can almost miss it because it looks like it is a part of Roscoes. All I can say is Yum!!!

The vegan options were absolutely delicious! The salted caramel was just right and didn't have that oat flavor at all!
I really enjoy their vegan ice cream. They offer a great selection of flavors, and I appreciate the Takoma area!
