Honestly, we were introduced to Pam and Mark one afternoon during our visit to Newcastle. Pam mentioned she owned a traditional eatery, and two days later we decided to go for breakfast. The warm welcome from the staff and customers was fantastic, and the atmosphere was full of friendly banter. The cafe is a local gem, serving homemade food at affordable prices. The cleanliness and quality of the food were exceptional. We struggled to choose between a traditional home-cooked meal and a classic fry-up, but ultimately went for the latter and were not disappointed. This restaurant is consistently excellent. I travel 20 miles round trip with my son for lunch here and it is always worth it! The food is always perfectly cooked and Pam and the staff are always cheerful and smiling. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I visited on Monday (17th) and I am going back again today (20th) to bring a friend and show him what delicious fresh homestyle cooking is all about.
This restaurant is absolutely perfect, I couldn't find any faults. It's always busy, which shows they are doing something right. The food is delicious, honest, and freshly made.
